Saxophone and Cembalo…just amazing!!! With Katerina Vlati!

An unusual but really cool mix: saxophone and harpsichord!

This unexpected pairing brings together two instruments from vastly different musical worlds. The harpsichord, with its bright, plucked string sound from the Baroque era, contrasts beautifully with the smooth, rich tones of the saxophone, a staple of jazz and modern music. Combining their voices creates a unique texture that’s both classical and contemporary, evoking a fresh sonic landscape that captures the listener’s imagination. Whether in a chamber music setting or an experimental jazz piece, this blend challenges traditional boundaries and celebrates the art of innovation in music.Katerina Vlati cembalist
